The KIWANIS CLUB OF MT JULIET invites you to
Help us spread the patriotic spirit in WILSON County and the
City of Mt Juliet!
When you sign up for our flag program, we will insert a plastic sleeve in your front yard, your business yard and/or the yard
for a friend or relative. No brackets or fixtures are attached to your building. On each of the five listed Holidays, we will
set a 3’ x 5’ flag on a 10’ pole in the sleeve. We will set out the flag by the Holiday day, pick it up after the Holiday and
store it for you. You get to enjoy being part of a neighborhood filled with patriotic color.
The flags will be set out by our volunteer members for the following Holidays and/or Holiday weekends:
Memorial Day

 Flag Day

Independence Day

Labor Day thru 9/11

 Veterans Day
(weather permitting)
You can participate in the Kiwanis Flag Project for only $50 per year per flag. The proceeds of the Flag Project will be
used to support Kiwanis’ many local and international good
works, especially for young children and youth.
If you would like to know more about Kiwanis, or have questions about the Kiwanis Flag project, please email
kiwanisclubofmtjuliet@gmail.com or visit us on Facebook.
The flags remain the property of the Kiwanis Club of Mt Juliet
and are installed within our service territory. Currently this
program is available to Mt Juliet residents and businesses only. Plastic Sleeves will be inserted 10’ off your curb and 10’ off your driveway and will avoid obstacles (i.e. trees).
Kiwanis Club of Mt. Juliet is not responsible for irrigation
lines. Sleeves may be inserted in your yard without
homeowner/business owner being present.
